At House of Victory Prayer Ministry, our beliefs are founded on the unchanging Word of God. These fundamental truths guide our worship, ministry, and daily walk with Christ. We hold fast to these biblical principles that have been the cornerstone of Christian faith throughout the ages.
GOD THE FATHER
The creator of Heaven and Earth, who made man in His own image and likeness. He is the eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God who rules over all creation with perfect love and justice.
JESUS CHRIST
The only begotten Son of God the Father. He is both fully God and fully man, who came to earth to save humanity from sin and death through His sacrificial love.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Our comforter and teacher of all things who dwells within us, uniting us to Jesus Christ. He guides, empowers, and sanctifies believers for victorious Christian living.
THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary for the sins of mankind. He rose from the dead in His glorified body on the third day, and He ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
The Blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary cleanses us of all sin and grants us access into the presence of God. It is our redemption and the source of our victory.
SALVATION
A gift from God through grace and faith in Christ Jesus. All who believe in the name of Jesus Christ may be saved by turning from sin to repentance and are born again by the Holy Spirit.
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Available to all who believe in Jesus Christ, and is evidenced by the gift of speaking in tongues and other spiritual manifestations that empower believers for service.
WATER BAPTISM
By immersion in water as Jesus Christ was baptized. This public declaration of faith symbolizes our death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ.
SANCTIFICATION
Separation from the world unto God – a life of true holiness. It is the ongoing process by which God transforms believers into the image of Christ.
THE SECOND COMING
Jesus Christ will come again to earth in glory and in power. Those dead in Christ will rise first and those alive in Christ will be in the presence of God for eternity.
THE HOLY BIBLE
The infallible and authoritative Word of God, given directly to all men and women for salvation, instruction, and guidance in righteous living.
THE MANDATE
Man was created in the image and likeness of God to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, and to have dominion over it through Christ.
